Mike & Amanda's Garden: Before and After
I thought I'd share a quick post of our garden to get the ball rolling. As you may know, our new home needed a lot of work, and thanks to Mike's renovation knowledge and my secret (or not so secret) desire to be Martha Stewart, things are starting to look better - much better! For example, the yard as seen in the below picture, has been completely redone for obvious reasons. We have planted vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and perennial flowers. It's a lot of work, but rewarding. Looking forward to seeing your posts! - Amanda

Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI had a brief moment where I thought I would fulfill my dream of becoming a west coast hippie, knee deep in dirt. I bought "Gardening for Dummies" and frankly (for me) any project that starts with "for dummies" means you've already failed. In my defense, desert dirt is not for the novice, casual hobbyist or faint-hearted. Thankfully, I now live in a home that comes with a gardener.
Now I just look at my well-manicured garden that some dudes are paid to maintain weekly and wonder why my cats come inside to <*&@^*!> and then return to the garden.
